· Breve historia
CANTAPUEBLO, La Fiesta Coral de América, nace en Mendoza, Argentina 1989 . Es un encuentro coral no competitivo que promueve la amistad, la solidaridad y intercambio cultural entre los pueblos del mundo, a través del canto coral.Cada año en Cantapueblo se reúnen coros de jóvenes y adultos, instituciones oficiales y privadas, educativas, religiosas, deportivas, independientes y empresariales.
· ¿Dónde se realiza?
Celebraremos los 20 años en Mendoza , Argentina .Se suman a este festejo las primeras ediciones en Guarenas, Venezuela y Río de Janeiro, Brasil .Prestigiosos teatros , centros culturales, plazas, bodegas, escuelas, iglesias y estadios, son los ámbitos donde los coros nos traen su música y su magia.
· Protagonistas
Más de 1.500 agrupaciones corales de Argentina, Chile, Perú, Ecuador, Venezuela, México, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brasil, Colombia, Malasia, Italia, España, Alemania, República Checa, Estados Unidos y Eslovenia, celebraron el canto compartido en la Fiesta Coral de América.· Visitas Ilustres

Los 20 años de Cantapueblo lo celebraremos con OPUS CUATRO, quienes compartirán con todos los coros del festival sus 40 años de trayectoria artística. Sus voces se sumarán, en el concierto final de Cantapueblo, a la masa coral de más de 1.500 cantantes.

11th to 16th November / Guarenas, Caracas VenezuelaCantapueblo is a non-competitive choral event that brings out the friendly meeting of people from all over the world.
Cantapueblo came to life in Mendoza , Argentina , twenty years ago, with the presence of sixteen choral groups. Soon, more than 300 groups had been gathered, and Chile and Ecuador were incorporated as seats in 1997 and 1998 respectively.
Since then, many choirs and choral groups from all over Argentina, Italy, Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Perú, Colombia and USA have taken part in the annual event.
This year Brasil and Venezuela will start joining us in this venture.
Our history also boasts of the visit of great masters of choral music: Royce Saltzman (USA), Robert Sund (Sweden), Beatriz Corona (Cuba), Alberto Grau y María Guinand (Venezuela), Carlos Pinto Fonseca and Rosángela Santa Anna (Brazil), Jorge Bonilla Vera (Chile), Liliana Cangiano, Oscar Escalada and Jorge Chanal (Argentina), Jean Claude Wilkems (Bélgica) and Oswaldo Kuam (Perú).
The concerts are performed in traditional theaters and cultural centers in these cities as well as non-traditional sceneries such as squares, wine cellars, schools, churches and stadiums, among others. This envolves the organization of eighty concerts were popular works from different countries and from the universal repertoire are performed. Children, adult or aged people choirs and choral societies belonging to state and private, educational, independent, religious and sports institutions take a main role in “The Greating Latin American choral festival”.
